I don’t know what I’d be doing with myself if I wasn’t preoccupied by Yuletide right now.  Making Tim Drake and Conner Kent be BFF on the Sims, most probably. Certainly I don’t think I’d be any more likely to be actually training for Gotham tryouts tomorrow.

But I am preoccupied by Yuletide and I find my brain wanting to do nothing more than falling into the canon source, flailing at characters who won’t do what I want, and just listening to the playlist I am putting together and crying.

It’s like I’ve always been a writer, but I’m only now figuring out what this means. In the last week, I have written 7,800 words of one continuous story, I don’t know what is up with me.

Because it’s Yuletide, and a secret until the new year, I can’t talk here about plot and research and the revelations about character I’m discovering. But I can share some of the songs I’ve been listening to.
